ABOUT

Every year, game development students at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, NC are tasked with creating a video game in 8 short weeks as part of a final capstone presentation.

Our team started its design process for this project in January 2017. We asked ourselves: what kinds of game do we love to play? What is it that inspires us to play and make games? Our consensus was unanimous: rich narrative, ethereal visuals, puzzling adventure. These were qualities found in our favorite games, so we decided to create something that would invoke these feelings in our players.

DURGA SIVAMANI

Journey into the depths of the Jungle!

Samsara is an ancient Sanskrit word that means "wandering, to go round, revolve, and pass through a succession of states."

Indeed, the concept of journey is rich in our game as you enter the life of Kala, a young girl whose village has been destroyed by the Arati, an unnatural force of anger and chaos.

Before everything she ever knew was taken from her, Kala's mother left her with a task: to find the secrets of her tribe and heritage in the mysterious Jungle beyond. Explore the unknown, defeat the Arati, and discover secrets that have been kept hidden for centuries.
